System of Active Fire Protection: Fire Extinguishing
Buildings are an important part of human environment, whether they are utilised for living, working, entertainment, or other functions. As a result of our country's overall socioeconomic progress and the steady urban development processes that have been gathering momentum for years, there has been a massive increase in the number of dwellings of all types, including high-rise and special buildings, particularly in urban and adjacent suburbs.
With technological advancements
on all facets, not only has the element of vulnerability risen, but so has the
complexity of flames, explosions, and the threats to which these structures are
exposed. These dangers have contributed to significant losses in lives and safety,
posing new difficulties for planners, architects, and fire protection agencies
in developing better and enhanced design and fire security strategies to
prevent such losses. Contact us for fire Suppression system!
Stationary Foam Extinguishing Systems with Low Expansion
Low expansion foam can be sprayed
directly to the burning liquid's surface (surface application) or applied below
the surface (below the surface in the event of tank fires) so that it floats to
the surface under its own buoyant (sub-surface application). Low-expansion
foams can also be used in a semi-subsurface application. AFFF should be used
for fuel and light crude oils.
All components, including
freshwater and foam concentration, are held within the system in self-contained
systems. Water and foam concentrate are frequently held as a premix solution in
a tank that is pressured by pressurized air when the system is used, or the
foam concentration can be kept and pressurized separately.
Foam Systems Types
Fixed: This kind contains steel
pipes that runs from the water supply to the fire suppression pump (if one is
installed) and the foam liquid. Under ideal conditions, foam can be predicted
over a tolerating gadget to the foam maker that protect the hazard. Call

Steel tubing runs from out of the
barrier wall (or a similar area) to the foam creators in a semi-fixed
configuration. Water supply hoses (and, on occasion, foam proportioning
devices) can be attached to the pipes. The water comes via a hydrant system,
and the foam concentration / solution is delivered by mobile fire trucks.
Portable Systems: These systems
include foam jets and sprays that may be carried manually and linked to a
pressurised water or pre-mixed solution supply through a fire hose.
Foam producing units placed on
wheels (Self powered fire boats) or towed, linked to the groundwater resources
(foam composition transporting unit mounted on wheels must also be included)
are included in the mobile system. Get promising Fire Maintenance!
